New Mexico elk season runs from September 1st through December 31 st each year. Black Willow Ranch offers several different hunt opportunities for elk:
- Archery bull elk hunt - September
- Rifle bull elk hunt - October
- Rifle cow elk hunt - October through December
All elk hunts are offered as a two-hunters-to-one-guide ratio and vary from 3 to 5 days in length.
Our Ranch Manager, Kyle Jackson, has years of experience as a guide and managing guided hunts in northern New Mexico. Kyle knows the movement of the elk and will provide you with opportunities to harvest the elk you’ve been dreaming of.
After a successful hunt, we will load and bring your elk back to ranch headquarters
to skin and quarter for easy transport.
