Black Willow Ranch horses are ridden on rolling prairies, juniper – covered foothills, and large rocky flat top mesas. They “earn their keep” by moving, gathering, and doctoring cattle. The grazing operation at Black Willow Ranch demands the use of great ranch horses.
Our equine facilities include a 12 stall barn, a 330'x220' outdoor roping and cowhorse arena, a 150' cutting pen, 100' x 60' covered arena, pipe cattle pens and many irrigated turn out pastures. With over 10,000 acres to explore, we are fortunate to offer our horses in training a diverse environment to hone their skills and gain exposure.
